Scott Weingarten creates photographs that combine careful composition with a strong sense of creativity. Based in New York, he is known for portrait, lifestyle, and commercial photography that transforms familiar subjects into striking visual images.
His artistic background includes studies in Fashion Illustration at the Fashion Institute of Technology and Fine Arts at Kingsborough Community College in Brooklyn. He also spent more than four years studying figurative photography under the guidance of a mentor, developing a thoughtful and technically refined approach to the medium.
Experimentation plays an important role in Weingarten’s work. He often introduces materials such as colored fabrics, stretch textiles, fishnet, and feathers to create texture, movement, and unexpected visual effects. Each photograph is carefully printed on Canson fine art paper or acrylic to preserve its clarity and detail.
Weingarten’s work has been exhibited in more than forty galleries across the United States, Europe, and Canada, reflecting his growing presence in the international contemporary photography scene.
