Swiss artist Christiane Tabord Deillon creates paintings that merge technical precision with an intuitive creative process. Her work is guided by a fascination with the relationship between the visible and invisible, drawing inspiration from nature, spirituality, and the emotional connections that lay at the heart of the human experience.
Her work explores ideas of harmony, growth, and interconnectedness through cosmic landscapes, lush forests, marine ecosystems as representations of the sacred feminine. Rather than presenting fixed narratives, her paintings encourage viewers to form their own interpretations and engage with the work on a personal level.
Deillon’s practice is distinguished by a layered approach that combines powdered pigments, watercolor, egg tempera, and oil paint. The gradual building of each composition creates luminous surfaces, rich textures, and a sense of depth that contributes to the immersive quality of her work.
