Color, texture, and emotion are central to the work of Saudi artist Nada Alowaid. Through minimalist compositions and layered acrylic surfaces, she explores how subtle visual elements can evoke memory, atmosphere, and personal reflection.
Working primarily with a palette knife, Alowaid creates paintings that emphasize presence over narrative. Alowaid’s path to art was unconventional. Although she studied biology and computer science, her passion for creative expression ultimately led her to develop a contemporary painting practice focused on emotional connection and visual harmony.
