Andre Bachleda

Painting · Kraków, Poland

Born in the Tatra Mountains of southern Poland and now based in Kraków, André Bachleda brings together influences from art, music, and sport in a vibrant and expressive painting practice.

A former Olympic skier and professional musician, he draws upon personal experience to create works that are both energetic and deeply individual.

Working primarily with acrylics and drawing media, Bachleda has developed a distinctive style that blends figurative painting, expressionism, and bold color.

His recurring subjects, including cityscapes and skiers, reflect a lifelong fascination with movement, culture, and the places that have shaped his journey.

Bachleda’s work has been exhibited internationally, with recent presentations in Rome, Venice, France, and Poland. Through dynamic compositions and a highly personal visual language, he transforms memories, experiences, and observations into paintings that celebrate authenticity, freedom, and creative expression.
