Marc Provisor

Agora Gallery, 530 W 25th Street, New York, NY 10001

For Marc Provisor, painting is both a personal reflection and an exploration of the human experience. Working in oil and mixed media, he creates layered compositions that balance abstraction with symbolic imagery, exploring themes of memory, resilience, conflict, and hope.

Based between Israel and New York City, Provisor has developed a distinctive visual language shaped by the landscapes, histories, and emotions that surround him.

His expressive brushwork and evolving use of color invite viewers into works that move between moments of intensity and quiet contemplation, revealing both the fragility and strength of people and place.

Provisor’s work has been exhibited internationally in museums, galleries, and cultural institutions across Israel, Europe, and the United States.

Recent exhibitions include presentations at the Ujazdowski Castle Center for Contemporary Art in Warsaw, Agora Gallery in New York, the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, D.C., and George Bergès Gallery in New York.

Through each painting, he continues an ongoing dialogue about identity, endurance, and the search for meaning in a changing world.
