Andrew Curtis

Abstract painting · Los Angeles, California

Andrew Curtis is a self-taught American artist known for his intricate abstract paintings that explore pattern, movement, and visual rhythm.

Over the past decade, he has developed a distinctive monochromatic style that transforms simple forms into dynamic compositions through the careful layering of lines, brushwork, and reflective elements.

Curtis draws inspiration from natural patterns such as ocean waves, sand dunes, and plant structures, as well as the energy and texture of music from around the world. His process is intuitive, allowing each piece to evolve through an ongoing dialogue between artist and artwork.

Based in Los Angeles, Curtis has exhibited in galleries throughout the United States, the United Kingdom, and South Africa. In 2025, he made his Art Basel Miami debut at Red Dot Art Fair, where he also presented a live painting session.

His upcoming exhibitions include presentations in Los Angeles and at the Carrousel du Louvre in Paris, reflecting the continued growth of his international presence.
