Belgian artist Peter Foesters transforms destruction into beauty. After studying at the Genk Academy of Art, Foesters began his career in painting before exploring film scenes, abstract work, and later, carving and sculpting with bold new materials.
Today, he is known for his striking three-dimensional paintings, created with polystyrene and epoxy on canvas, where color and depth collide in unexpected ways.
Foesters’ art is not about perfection but about finding elegance in chaos. His fluorescent colors seem to vibrate with life, turning broken forms into something powerful and magnetic.
Each piece invites the viewer to look closer, to discover that beauty can be hidden in places often overlooked.
Over the years, his work has been shown across Belgium, Spain, and beyond, with exhibitions in Brussels, Valencia, and Herk-de-Stad. Featured in international publications such as Art Folio and Best 100 Selected Annual Book, Foesters continues to push boundaries.
For him, art is a journey forward, a constant search for new ways to see and feel the world.
