Jennifer Hannigan-Green paints the inner landscapes of life. What began as a love for nature and traditional landscapes has grown into a deeper, more personal expression.
Today her work moves between abstraction and the figurative, capturing emotions that are often hard to put into words. Through color and shape, she speaks of motherhood, love, sleepless nights, connection, as well as loneliness, resilience, and joy.
A Midwest native, Hannigan-Green has exhibited her paintings internationally, from Paris to St. Louis, and has been honored with the American Art Award two years in a row.
She holds a degree in Painting from Eastern New Mexico University and a Master’s in Education, balancing her life as an artist with her role as an elementary art teacher.
For Hannigan-Green, painting is not only creation but also reflection. Each canvas is a conversation between her inner world and the viewer, an invitation to pause and feel.
Her art asks us to recognize our own stories in hers, to find beauty and connection in the shared experience of being human.
