Being born in Odessa, I have always loved painting the sea. I am also drawn to art that provokes thought.
Although I appreciate watercolor paintings, my primary medium these days is oil paint. I have tried working with acrylics a few times, but I did not enjoy the feel of them.
I prefer to paint from life or from my imagination.
