I am a self-taught, experimental photographer whose life and art are deeply intertwined, resulting in work that is distinctly my own. By reimagining the ordinary -- often the view outside my window -- I uncover the extraordinary, creating a dynamic world of movement and color. I capture the light of New York City in motion, producing painterly, abstract, and atmospheric images that I describe as "photo-paintings." At times, the motion appears linear; at others, it becomes a tangled, interwoven abstraction. Each image is expressive and evocative, with its unique colors, shapes, and movement reflected in its title.

I am a juried Signature Member of NAWA, the National Association of Women Artists. In addition to my visual art practice, I work in medicine in New York City. Selected works from the Chasing Light portfolio are available as custom ArtBox and acrylic glass prints.
