Patsy Lindamood

Drawing

Patsy Lindamood is a skilled artist known for her work with graphite and watercolor pencils, focusing on wildlife and human portraits. Her remarkable wildlife art has gained her recognition in prestigious groups like the Society of Animal Artists and the International Guild of Realism. Recently, during a birding trip, she found new inspiration in the vast Texas landscape.

Lindamood has shifted from using soft pastels to mastering dry media, particularly graphite and watercolor pencils. Her current collection showcases striking Texas scenes, featuring grain silos, elevators, and aged homesteads. These pieces are rich in tonal values and precise lines, telling engaging stories in shades of grey.

Although she started her art career later in life, Lindamood has been a full-time artist since 2004, while also managing her responsibilities as CFO/CTO/CISO. Her artwork incorporates mathematical principles of symmetry and perspective, bringing depth to her refined creations.
