Narmin Azimzada, born in Baku, Azerbaijan 1994, is a contemporary painter known for exploring human vulnerability and introspection.
She honed her skills at the Azerbaijan State Academy of Painters under the guidance of German professor Inge H. Schmidt. In 2018 she completed her bachelor’s degree and afterwards pursued a master’s degree at Kocaeli State University in Turkey.
Her work, especially her 2024 piece Women, showcases a balance of strength and fragility. Azimzada encourages viewers to connect with their emotional experiences through muted tones and textured brushstrokes.
