Born in Istanbul in 1989, Turkish artist Alaz Sağlam ‘s artistic journey began early with a painting competition win in primary school.
She studied industrial engineering at The American University and later earned a master’s in social sciences at Istanbul Galatasaray University.
Her work blends nature, mythology, and personal experiences through geometric abstraction and color. Inspired by Greek mythology and her travels, she explores themes of love, devotion, and transformation.
In addition to painting, Sağlam is a poet and fashion designer, having published two poetry books with a third on the way. She leads As Global Green, a company involved in renewable energy and textiles. Her art has been showcased internationally at places like Art Point Gallery, Bodrum Art Fair, and Miami Art Week, with future exhibits planned at the Cannes Film Festival and the Monaco Grand Prix.
