Elinor Chechik, an Israeli artist and psychodrama therapist, blends her therapeutic insights with creative expression to produce deeply personal and vibrant artwork. Chechik started her career in acting and singing, later switching her focus to psychology and arts therapy. Her background in behavioral sciences and psychodrama greatly impacts her art, which she began exploring after visiting New York City in 2021.
Her first exhibition, “Summer City Idyll”, marked her entry into the art world. Her paintings are intuitive reactions to universal themes from her therapeutic work, transforming them into vibrant, colorful pieces. She describes her process as moving from tidy lines to expressive freedom, reflecting the balance between fear and trust in life.
Her work seeks to empower and inspire by celebrating diversity and unity with vibrant, optimistic tones. Chechik’s art encourages viewers to explore their potential and embrace the colorful spectrum of life.
