Baden Johnson ‘s “Earthland” series highlights the boundless nature of our world, offering a creative vision where different places merge on a single canvas.
Johnson creates surreal landscapes by combining elements from up to four different global locations, forming a unique alternate reality. By blending the names of these places, he enhances the surreal feel of his work, inviting viewers to explore a reimagined Earth.
Johnson has held nine solo exhibitions and has been widely involved in group shows, gaining recognition in Australia and internationally.
He was a finalist in the John Villiers Outback 2024 and the Polish International Drawing Prize 2013. His work is showcased in both public and private collections and includes landscape murals for various locations.
