Paula Blaschke

Giclee printmaking

With my foundation in architecture, my love for drafting was born. Influenced monumentally by Chuck Jones, my work has evolved into a style that uses simple lines to convey information with absolute clarity.

By leveraging the digital platform of Adobe Illustrator, I am able to control my environment with precision. Every point has a specific place, and every line drawn is deliberate.

Yet, I have the freedom to explore dynamic compositions through color and layers, creating a unique blend of imagery that often surprises and delights me with unexpected outcomes. I also incorporate Adobe Photoshop to facilitate color correction in the final stages, but everything must first be drawn and designed. This is an absolute.
