The Artist I Am
“I have an extreme obsession with color and flow in my art. Being an artist from Long Island, New York I’ve always been surrounded by the salt water and sky. The beauty where the sand meets the ocean and the infinite space above is truly inspiring.
Usually painting with no set composition in mind my art will form itself into a celestial flow of vibrant color. As if a waterfall combined both color and energy not visible to the naked eye.
When looking at my paintings I see the vibrant brush strokes flow together and intertwine dark and light. Otherworldly, dreamlike landscapes appear oftentimes with a feminine figure immersed in it all. I feel my work personifies the inner workings of my mind into something more tangible, a woman and/or place both derived and caught in the cascading stardust.
