My work reflects the balance between structure and emotion. I create from a place of anticipation, using texture, light, and contrast to express what words cannot.
I often work with acrylic, gesso, gold leaf, and other media, building palpable texture across the canvas to create movement and depth. Sometimes figurative forms emerge within the layers of splatter and abstraction, inviting a quiet sense of wonder and stillness in the midst of chaos.
My background in medicine gives me an appreciation for precision, but painting allows me to let go and move intuitively.
Each piece becomes a reflection of faith, transformation, and the resilience of the human spirit. My hope is that my art carries a sense of calm and restoration, even when it’s born from moments of intensity.
