Jeremy Gornto

Acrylic painting

Born to an artist-physicist, Jeremy grew up surrounded by paintings and began creating as soon as he could hold a brush.

In college, under the mentorship of art Professor Sister Margie (SSJ), his study of color and light expanded into a deeper exploration of the spiritual dimension of painting. Their collaboration in 2013 produced his first work, shown at an exhibition featuring their floral abstract watercolors.

After college, his painting fell silent for several years until 2020, when an unexpected surge of inspiration led to hundreds of new works. Soon, his living space became filled with expressionist paintings, echoing the imaginative energy of his childhood home.

Today, Jeremy works primarily in acrylics. His current body of abstract gardens returns to themes first explored in his earlier works, where nature and color become a language for spiritual reflection.

These paintings seek to make the unseen visible, transforming inner experience into reflections of beauty drawn from the natural world.
