I look at the world as if I am looking through the lens of a camera. I cannot think of a better way to look at everything around me every day. Art and interesting things to photograph are everywhere. I Love That.
I am a Fine Art Photographer. What I mean by that, and what excites me most as a photographer is that someone wants to hang one of my photographs on their wall. To take a photograph that will possibly hang on a wall somewhere is what I think of every time I take a shot.
Regarding my style, I love angles and shooting at different angles, I like shooting closeup and macro, and I am an urban photographer at heart. I grew up in the city so that is where I started to learn and experiment. One of my favorite challenges to myself as a photographer is to photograph a particular subject that is very famous and photographed probably a million times, like the St. Louis Arch, and take a photo that is unique and original. I like to challenge myself and experiment.
And finally, I am still learning and growing as a photographer, there is always more to learn, and new styles to try.
