Orly Moosighi is a contemporary mixed-media artist whose work explores transformation through texture, movement, and layered materiality. Based in Southern California, Moosighi creates luminous compositions that blend resin, crystals, natural gemstones, and organic forms into immersive visual experiences shaped by emotion and energy.
Her artistic journey began more than fifteen years ago through oil painting, where she developed an early fascination with abstraction, color, and expressive surfaces. Over time, her practice expanded into resin art, allowing her to further explore depth, transparency, and light through dimensional compositions. Guided by both intuition and process, Moosighi builds each work through layered resin techniques, pigment movement, embedded crystals, and sculptural textures that interact with shifting light and atmosphere.
Themes of healing, femininity, vulnerability, and personal transformation often emerge throughout her work. Inspired by the natural energy and symbolism of gemstones and organic materials, Moosighi creates pieces that encourage reflection and emotional connection while transforming the spaces they inhabit.
Moosighi’s work has been featured in art fairs and exhibitions throughout Southern California, including Art for Heaven’s Sake, and she was recognized as a Merit Award Winner in the inaugural Venü Art Award Magazine.
