Mahsa

Oil painting

Mahsa creates abstract paintings that examine the relationship between emotion, memory, and transformation. Her work is driven by an intuitive process, beginning without sketches or fixed outcomes and unfolding gradually through layers of oil paint, gesture, and movement.

Rather than depicting specific narratives, Mahsa uses abstraction as a means of exploring experiences that often exist beyond words.

Influenced by her background as a poet, Mahsa approaches painting with a strong awareness of rhythm, atmosphere, and emotional nuance. The resulting works balance spontaneity with intention, creating spaces that encourage contemplation and personal interpretation.

Through her practice, Mahsa investigates the ways art can foster connection, offering viewers an opportunity to pause, reflect, and engage with the quieter dimensions of human experience.
