Based in Orange County, California, Armstrong is a visual artist, architect, philanthropist, and Chairman of the international design firm Ware Malcomb. He is also the author of the New York Times bestselling book Layered Leadership, reflecting his multidisciplinary approach to creativity, design, and whole-brain leadership. His philanthropic affiliations include Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year, United to End Homelessness, Chapman University's Argyros Real Estate Program, NAIOP, and Kent State University's Design Innovation.
His work has been exhibited internationally, including at Galleria360 (Florence) and Galeria Azur across Europe, as well as in the United States with ADC Fine Art, Agora Gallery, Galeria Azur NYC and Miami, Artexpo New York, the San Francisco Art Fair, the Palm Springs Art Fair, the Palm Beach Art Show, and the Salt Lake City Art Fair. He has also been featured in the international Art Fusion tour, expanding the global reach of his work.
