With a rich background in editorial illustration from the Rhode Island School of Design, her early career saw her working with major publications, advertising agencies, and greeting card companies in New York and Boston.
Her artistic path later led to designing one-of-a-kind furniture and licensed products for major giftware brands in the U.S. and the U.K.
Nearly ten years ago, Mason returned to her roots in painting. What began as commissioned oil portraits soon evolved into something deeper: works that combine human figures with powerful social and political themes. Her art often blends whimsy, pop culture, and editorial storytelling to express messages that are thought-provoking and emotionally rich.
Having lived in different countries throughout her childhood, Mason’s global exposure shapes her work in subtle and meaningful ways.
