Jay Chung is a contemporary artist whose work brings joy, depth, and energy to everyday life.
Born in Korea and now based in the United States, Jay Chung blends his background in graphic design with his passion for painting to create colorful, layered pieces that speak to the heart.
His work draws on familiar themes such as flowers, nature, relationships, and harmony, but gives them new life through bold color and unique materials.
Chung holds two master’s degrees from Pratt Institute in New York, where he studied Communication and Computer Graphic Design.
He has exhibited internationally, from Artexpo New York to Frieze Seoul, the Affordable Art Fair in Austin, to Focus Art Fair in NY & London. Named a “Spotlight Artist” and “Best Exhibitor” at Artexpo, Chung’s talent continues to be recognized across the art world.
For over a decade, Chung has worked with epoxy resin, using multiple layers to create paintings that are vivid, strong, and full of light.
His art has been commissioned for luxury spaces like the St. Regis Hotel, and continues to inspire viewers to see beauty in everyday moments.
