Bonnie Siracusa, known as “The Art Genie” is a renowned painter and muralist residing in East Meadow, NY. While still in grade school, she studied anatomy at the Student League in New York City. She graduated from Carnegie Mellon University with a BFA in Art and continued her education at Parsons School of Design and the Finishing School in Great Neck.In addition to creating and exhibiting her art, Siracusa launched a highly successful mural painting career by doing Designer Showcases in NYC and Long Island. Her increased visibility and widespread appeal have led to numerous mural and painting commissions for businesses and private residences.Siracusa received public acclaim through numerous newspaper and magazine articles as well as television broadcasts, such as in Newsday, The New York Times, The Daily News, The Canarsie Courier, News 12 Long Island, Art Scene on Long Island, Eyewitness News, Nightly News and two highly publicized ribbon cutting ceremonies led by local politicians and senator Charles Schumer.She is the recipient of the NYS Council on the Arts Artist in Residence Grant and is a National Association of Women Artists member and an MTA Permanent Art Installation Competition for Renovation of the Herald Square Subway Finalist. Her art was featured at Artexpo NY, Mansions and Millionaires Designer Showcases, Ariel Gallery in NYC, the Mary Fritchie Art Shows in West Hampton, the Port Washington Library, and the Nassau County Museum of Fine Arts.
