Donna Masi
Donna Masi brings a thoughtful approach to still life, using painting to transform everyday subjects into richly layered visual experiences. Her artistic journey began with traditional drawing and painting before developing into a broader interest in dimension, light, and the relationship between an image and its surrounding space.
Working with color and composition, Masi creates paintings that bring familiar subjects together in carefully considered arrangements. In Blue Vase, Sunflowers & Cat, vibrant flowers, a blue vase, and a cat form a lively composition filled with color and character. The work demonstrates Masi’s ability to balance multiple elements while maintaining a strong sense of atmosphere.
Masi’s practice continues to develop through her interest in visual depth, light, and expressive arrangements of everyday subjects.
Masi holds an MFA from Lehman College and a Fine Arts Certificate from the National Academy of Design. She is also a member of the Art Students League.
