Philippe Farhat is a contemporary Lebanese artist. He graduated in interior design from Lebanese University in 2009 and earned his degree in fine arts in 2016. Farhat has worked as a teacher at various academies, instructing students of different ages and backgrounds. He is currently teaching at Prunus Academy, CAMM Fashion Academy, and the municipality of Zouk. In addition to teaching, Farhat is also an interior designer, having completed over 80 projects across Lebanon and Kuwait, including homes and restaurants. His main passion, however, lies in his studio, where he can create without limitations. Since 2002, Farhat has participated in over 25 group exhibitions and has held three solo exhibitions at Zaman Gallery, Lebanese University, and Beit al Hirafi. Besides his multiple collectives, Philippe exhibited twice in solo exhibitions in 2021 and 2023 at Galerie Cheriff Tabet. Philippe also exhibited through Galerie Cheriff Tabet and collaborated with Agora Gallery in New York at a collective exhibition in February 2023. His next solo exhibition at Galerie Cheriff Tabet will be in May 2024. His works are inspired by accumulations of experiences related to society and humanity, reflecting his perspective. His creations are not confined to a specific material; he chooses different materials based on the expressive needs of each subject and work.
