Every artist dreams of the moment their work is recognized on a grand scale. For Julie Rami, that moment arrived when she was named a finalist in the 37th edition of the Chelsea International Fine Art Competition (CIFAC).
Born in France in 1987, Rami had already begun to establish herself in the French art scene, drawing inspiration from her experience in the gaming industry to develop her unique “Bokeh” technique—a vibrant, blurred style that brings dreamlike images to life. However, like many emerging artists, she faced the challenge of gaining international exposure and connecting with collectors beyond her home country.
The Chelsea International Fine Art Competition has a long history of elevating artists, providing them with valuable opportunities to exhibit in New York and connect with the global art market.
