My name is Simone Ibba and I’m an Italian artist hailing from Genoa, who has called Belgium home since 2007. Since my early years, I’ve nurtured a deep-seated passion for art, initially manifesting through drawings and later evolving into the realm of painting. My creative journey involves the innovative use of recycled materials—plastic sheets, wooden boards, and frames crafted from bedsheets—to breathe new life into discarded objects. Recently, I’ve delved into the realm of abstract art using digital mediums, giving rise to entirely digital creations, while still cherishing the tactile experience of physical painting. For me, painting serves as the language of the soul, eloquently expressing itself through the vivid language of colors and the fluidity of forms.
