Evan William Plunkett

Atelier Natália Gromicho, Rua Nova da Trindade 5G, 1200-301 Lisbon, Portugal

Evan William Plunkett’s photographs transform ordinary or abandoned spaces into scenes that feel suspended in time.

Defined by a cinematic, dreamlike aesthetic, his work blurs the boundaries between memory, reality, and imagination.

Working with long exposures, existing light, and intentional camera movement, Plunkett has developed a distinctive style he calls photo impressionism, capturing the atmosphere of a place rather than its literal form.

Influenced by film and storytelling, he creates visual narratives that evoke presence and absence, illustrating what he describes as “the fluidity and essence of the perpetual movement of time.”

Each purchase includes a complimentary copy of his latest monograph, an immersive collection that delves deeper into his artistic process, inspirations, and the stories behind his most evocative images.

Thoughtfully curated and beautifully presented, the monograph offers collectors a meaningful way to connect with the vision and emotion that define his photo impressionism.
