AGI Fine Art is a trade name of Agora Gallery Inc, 530 W 25th Street, New York, NY 10001. By submitting your portfolio to AGI Fine Art, you agree to the following:
Portfolio review. You authorize AGI Fine Art to review your submitted portfolio, artwork images, and supporting materials for exhibition consideration.
Fees. AGI Fine Art is a promotional-services agency, not a commission-only gallery. Submitting your portfolio is free and places you under no obligation. If your work is selected, the offer we send will include a participation fee, which you are free to accept or decline. Nothing is payable unless you accept an offer.
Ownership and originality. You confirm that all submitted artwork and images are your own original work — or the work of an artist who has authorized you to submit on their behalf — that you hold all rights necessary to submit them, and that they do not infringe the copyright, trademark, or other rights of any third party. You agree to indemnify and hold AGI Fine Art harmless from any claim, loss, or expense — including reasonable legal fees — arising from a breach of this confirmation.
Permission to use your materials. You grant AGI Fine Art a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, copy, resize, and display your submitted materials in order to review them and share them with authorized curators, gallery partners, and exhibition organizers for evaluation. This licence covers evaluation only. Promotional and exhibition use is governed by a separate agreement, if one is offered and accepted.
What you may submit. The work you submit will not include pornographic, sexually explicit or suggestive material, violence or gore, or racist material. It is the policy of AGI Fine Art to end all relations with any artist or artist representative who infringes copyright, upon prompt notification to AGI Fine Art by the copyright owner or the copyright owner’s legal agent.
Third-party misuse. You keep full copyright in your work at all times. AGI Fine Art takes reasonable care with your materials, but images that have been viewed or shared for evaluation can be copied by others, and AGI Fine Art is not responsible for unauthorized use of your work by anyone outside AGI Fine Art.
No guarantee. Submission does not guarantee acceptance into any exhibition, program, or representation agreement. AGI Fine Art reserves the right to decline any submission.
No confidential relationship. AGI Fine Art reviews a large number of portfolios and works with artists whose subject matter, style, or medium may resemble your own. Submitting your portfolio does not create a confidential or exclusive relationship between us.
Communication. You consent to receiving communications from AGI Fine Art about exhibition opportunities, programs, and services at the email address you provide. You can unsubscribe at any time.
Storage and deletion. Your submitted information is stored securely and handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. If a submission is left unfinished we may close it and delete the uploaded files, after notifying you. You may ask us to delete your submission at any time.
Limit of liability. AGI Fine Art’s total liability to you in connection with your submission will not exceed the amount you have paid AGI Fine Art, if any. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law. These terms govern your submission only. If AGI Fine Art goes on to exhibit or sell your work, that relationship is governed by a separate signed agreement and by New York law, and nothing in this paragraph limits any obligation AGI Fine Art owes you as a consignee of your work.
Eligibility. You confirm that you are 18 or older and legally able to agree to these terms. If you are submitting on an artist’s behalf, that artist is also 18 or older and of full legal capacity.
Governing law. These terms are governed by New York law, and you consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the State of New York, New York County.
Changes. We may update these terms. The version posted here applies to submissions made after it is posted.
