Suzanne Limozinere

Suzanne Limozinere is a New York-based artist working across photography, writing, poetry, and theater. Her artistic practice brings these forms together to explore memory, intimacy and visionary insights.

Her photographic essay Voyeuse in Paris began in 2011 and developed over more than a decade. Photographed in Parisian hotel rooms and on the streets of the city, the series considers loss, loneliness, sexuality, and desire through an intimate perspective.

The photographs present fragments of lived experience, allowing moments of vulnerability, solitude, and longing to remain open and unresolved.

Limozinere’s wider practice includes 35 mm Apocalyptic Utopia, photographed in Essaouira, Morocco, as well as the poetry and art books Moroccan Tenderness and Italian Impressions.

Limozinere has completed her first novel, Drowning in Batik, which is in the early stages of publishing.

Through photography and the written word, her work creates a space where personal memory, emotion, and place meet, offering viewers a closer look at the experiences that often remain unseen.
