Sarah Granetz is a multidisciplinary artist exploring the female body, identity, strength, and self-acceptance. Working with acrylic paint on stretched canvas, she uses her own body as both subject and tool, creating physical impressions through color, texture, and form.
Her series My Body Is Not For Sale began as a self-portrait project and developed into a deeper study of the relationship between body and identity.
Each work begins with a chosen pose, composition, and color palette before Granetz presses her painted body onto the canvas. The process is quick and instinctive, allowing each impression to retain a sense of movement and emotion.
For Granetz, the series reflects a personal journey toward recognizing and reclaiming herself. Her work speaks to strength, healing, and the importance of feeling at home in one’s own body.
Her art has been featured in British Vogue, The World of Interiors, and House & Garden.
