Jeffrey Yentz

Agora Gallery, 530 W 25th Street, New York, NY 10001

For Jeffrey Yentz, drawing is a way of translating the places, people, and moments that leave a lasting impression. A recently retired healthcare architect, Yentz brings decades of experience in architecture to an artistic practice grounded in observation, detail, and storytelling.

His creative journey began with a sketchbook and pens, carried throughout his architectural studies in London, Edinburgh, and Glasgow and during travels across Europe and Greece.

His drawings often capture subjects that create an emotional response, inviting viewers to look closely and connect with the personality within each scene.

Working primarily with pen and ink, Yentz begins with charcoal before developing his compositions through detailed linework and cross-hatching. Colored pencils, markers, and charcoal are then used to build depth and finish each work according to its character.

In 2026, Yentz received 10 awards from various exhibitions and was named Artist of the Month by two galleries. His work is currently represented in galleries in Texas and Mississippi and has also been presented at the Seattle Art Fair.
