Deborah Aquino

Agora Gallery, 530 W 25th Street, New York, NY 10001

Born and raised in Southampton, Deborah Acquino developed a love for art at an early age. Her practice centers on color, form, balance, and the ways visual elements can come together to create harmony.

Acquino’s creative background extends beyond the studio. She founded a successful business creating high-end décor and now works at the Southampton Arts Center, where daily contact with local and international artists continues to inform her artistic development. She also teaches art at the center, helping students of all ages build confidence and take pride in their creative work.

An active member of the local arts community, Acquino serves on the board of the Southampton Artists Association. Her work has been exhibited at Art on Paper NYC in 2025, the Karyn Mannix 17 Women Show, Guild Hall in East Hampton, Ashawagh Hall in Springs, Southampton Cultural Center, and Art Depot Montauk.

Through a thoughtful approach to composition, Acquino creates work that invites viewers to pause, connect, and appreciate the expressive possibilities of art.
