Cristian Mitrani

For more than five decades, Argentine-Belgian artist Cristian Mitrani has explored photography as a way of seeing the world differently. His work moves between cities, natural landscapes, museums, sacred spaces, and other places shaped by human experience.

Mitrani works with experimental photographic processes, often layering multiple exposures to create images filled with light, movement, color, and depth. Rather than simply documenting a place, he looks for the beauty and connections that exist beneath its surface.

His practice centers on an ongoing search for balance, beauty, and harmony. Each image offers a different way to consider memory, perception, and the relationship between people and their surroundings.

Mitrani has exhibited across Europe and the United States, including Madrid, New York, Miami, Paris, Washington, and Hong Kong. His work is represented by The Muisca Gallery in Paris. A portion of his proceeds also supports NGOs working in food, education, and health.
