Bogdan Kravchenko

Bogdan Kravchenko looks at the landscape not as a fixed scene, but as a space where light, color, and emotion can meet. His paintings begin with familiar subjects and move toward abstraction, allowing the essential forms of nature and architecture to take center stage.

Working with color fields, texture, and strong structural elements, Kravchenko creates compositions that feel both quiet and alive. His larger-scale works invite viewers to pause and spend time with the image, finding their own sense of balance and calm.

For Kravchenko, painting is an intuitive process. He approaches the canvas as a conversation, using color, shape, and texture to express ideas that words cannot easily convey.

Born in Ukraine, Kravchenko studied graphic design and book graphics before spending years in creative advertising. He returned to painting in 2010 and has since exhibited extensively across the United States and internationally.
