Christine Iacobuzio-Donahue

Artexpo New York 2024

April 4 – 7, 2024

Guided by my interest in science, nature, math, and Buddhism, my work aims to reflect the contrasts inherent to our experiences of the natural world both within and surrounding us; life versus death, order versus chaos, control versus randomness, organic versus manufactured. These elements are reflected in my bold abstract patterns, an infatuation with saturated color, and love of clean, minimalistic design. I cannot get through the day without laughing at least once; hence humor often finds its way into my work. I may be the only one who gets the joke, but that’s OK.
